This alliance between an architect and contractor has been formed to provide the homeowner with the continuity, efficiency and thoroughness found only within an 'in-house' operation.

General Contractor, Alan Eckstein, and Architect, Thomas Bouck formed a partnership 8 years ago to provide what they refer to as a 'Team Approach' to the complicated and involved process of designing and building...especially here in the mountains.

Alan Eckstein, 46, is a licensed General Contractor in California and Nevada. Tom Bouck, 54, is a licensed General Contractor and Architect in California. Both have lived and worked in Tahoe for the last 25 years. During this time, they have become very familiar with, and accomplished in, mountain architecture and construction. Acquired knowledge of the various local agencies' policies and procedures is crucial in facilitating the design/build process. Built upon a foundation of experience as carpenters, they have learned the business from the ground up.

Today's business staff is comprised of a senior draftsman, an autocad operator, an accountant/bookkeeper and a crew of seasoned artisans, carpenters and craftsmen. In addition, we maintain an established network of trade associates and subcontractors.
